The purpose of the Council is to:

1. Develop and communicate to nominated stakeholders a shared vision for paramedicine higher education

2. Advance and promote higher education and research in the discipline of paramedicine

3. Advocate best practice in paramedicine higher education through consultation and engagement with relevant stakeholders and members

4. Collaborate and consult with industry to evolve the discipline of paramedicine

5. Advocate for improved patient care through the provision of evidence-based paramedicine education.
